Today I went up to school to do a few last minute things for the first day, and to visit classrooms and spaces throughout the building. Each space I visited, a prayer was said. I ask that everyone in our community pray for our schools. Pray for our teachers. Most of all...pray for the children ages 4-18 that will be walking through the doors of Cabot Schools tomorrow. Many of them will come with new shoes and backpacks, and some of them will come in any clothes they can find in their home. Some will come in with big smiles, ready to learn. Some will come in anxious, frustrated, or angry. All of them have potential and gifts. God’s name cannot be discussed in our schools by the adults, but He will still be present through the many caring people who help a school serve kids the best they can. It’s go time! I’m ready. #JoyfulLeaders
